MUSIC: Christina began her violin studies at the age of five through the Suzuki method, and began playing viola during college. Following high school, she received a full scholarship to Houston Christian University. She studied with Rodica Weber-Gonzalez and earned a Bachelor of Music Degree with honors, and later earned a Master of Liberal Arts degree. Christina is registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas and has been teaching and performing for over twenty-five years. She especially loves playing at her church, creating string arrangements, and mentoring young musicians.
ADVOCACY: Christina has firsthand experience navigating neurodiversity. She discovered much of her own neurodiversity as an adult, when her kids were identified. On the education journey of her children, she has navigated public school, private school and homeschooling. Having experienced plenty of tumbles and unexpected discoveries with her family’s twice exceptional journey, she is passionate about sharing resources, educating, and helping other families learn to self-advocate.
When she can snag a free weekend, you will likely spot her walking the coast in Monterey, with her three kids and amazing husband.
